Part of the final portfolio for my first Photoshop class: leaf on the ground at night. This picture was taken for a night photography assignment, but didn't work in that context. I reworked it in a more creative way for the Photoshop course.
- B&W adjustment at 75% opacity, with layer mask on a single leaf leaving it fully saturated
- Lightened with levels adjustment
- Sharpened with Unsharp mask (for print, then redone for web -- that's when I found out that settings that are good for 8x10 prints don't work for 600 pixel pictures)
